Whenever a dude says some dumb shit in front me, I always do the “Nooo, I DON’T know what you mean, I don’t know nothing about that, I don’t know a thing, I don’t know anything about all that” routine to distance myself. The men’s hockey team looks weak because no one could do that, or stand up for the women and say, “of course you’re inviting them, they are Winners.” Lesson learned for those boys I hope.

We don’t need you to JUST be public with your support, fellas. We need it the most when things are said when the doors are closed and we are not there.

Man as a Canadian, we our girls lost, we were bummed but thought it was fair and had to admit the Americans were simply better.
But when our boys lost, it felt like losing to MAGA and people who want to unapologetically destroy our country. I think we’re all mad that we gave them that satisfaction.
Anyways, go watch women’s game outside the Olympics. It’s cheaper and better hockey.

The women have had a much stronger team in the last 30 years or so. The men are treated like heroes because they haven’t won gold in so long. Meanwhile the women consistently medal and won gold in 2018 and 1998 (and silver in 2022, 2014, and 2010). Where is the respect?
