  1. This is so sad. “he struggled for two decades with Bipolar Disorder and ultimately it got the best of him” I can’t imagine feeling so trapped.

Man, this one hurts. for an entire generation he was the ultimate underdog icon as lewis skolnick, and for the next generation he was the quintessential goofy dad on lizzie mcguire. rip to an absolute legend.

i literally grew up watching him on disney channel every day after school. sam mcguire was such a comforting, hilarious tv dad to watch when i was a kid. it genuinely feels like a little piece of my childhood just died tbh. rest easy.

ngl if you rewatch revenge of the nerds today it is basically just a wild compilation of unhinged 80s felonies, but you can’t deny carradine completely defined the “nerd” archetype for decades. that signature laugh is permanently burned into my brain.

  5. Fuck. Not today man. Revenge of the Nerds came out the year I was born, but was huge for a geeky autistic kid growing up in a world that didn’t make sense. 71 is a good run, if life leaves you, but knowing he chose to leave leave life. It’s just not what I’m ready to deal with today. RIP nerd.

Just putting two and two together and now it makes sense why David Carradine aka Bill was on an episode 😩

God damn, he was one of my favorite dads from Lizzie McGuire. I still remember just not giving a fuck and just wanted to eat during a murder mystery. I’ll miss him

  8. Oh not Sam Maguire and Skolnick! Man rip to this dude. My prayers go out to his family 💔

I kept thinking today weirdly about how we never got a sequel to moms got a date with a vampire.

Moms got a date with a vampire hunter.
