Simply having plot details means this movie is already on stronger footing than anything released after Scary Movie 2. The rest of the movies were just a grab bag of half-baked references and cameos

This is literally my most anticipated movie in years and yet everything I keep hearing keeps making me nervous.
The fact that the primary focus is The Substance when there are far more popular horror films is certainly an odd choice to say the least.
