Im convinced it was made to distract from the stories of how k pop performers are treated. They’re told what they can (and more importantly CAN’T) eat, they’re not allowed relationships so creepy fans can daydream about being with them etc.
And then the advert for this film came out showing the characters gorging on food and chasing interests.

Yeah, congratulations to the KPop Demon Hunters, one of my favourite movies of the year, I don’t mind if this or Zootopia 2 got the best animated feature for this year’s Academy Awards
