>The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu.

I remember when The Mandalorian was a real show that real Star Wars fans enjoyed. I have no idea what this is. Well i do, it’s for kids, but it makes me sad.

Everything about this film just feels so *lazy*

So embarrassing. Just a little hint of a decent thing, and Disney will dive at it and meatgrind it over and over until the meat goes stale and moldy. Does anybody actually want to watch this?

They missed the boat with how much time it has been since the last season.

Looks as forgettable as the movie will turn out to be.

This movie genuinely might bomb

Did they actually miss the fact that the title reads as “The Star Wars Mandalorian and Grogu’ or did they just not care?

Remember when the first season came out and it was awesome? Great visuals, badass protag, Ludwig Göransson soundtrack, no Skywalkers, just good times. Disney really have to run everything into the ground. I have zero motivation to watch this (or any SW stuff in general anymore).

5 years too late. Who cares about Baby Yoda or Mando anymore?

Disney: “what would happen if we train a model on one of our shows and tell it to make a movie from that?”
Also Disney: “hold my beer”

Even though I am excited for the movie, I still can’t help but feel worn out by Grogu. I really do think it would have served both Grogu and Mando better had he been left with Luke’s New Jedi order. However, Grogu seems to be a money making machine for Disney, aided by the fact that Filoni is kinda written into a corner as we know Luke’s New Jedi Order is destroyed by Kylo, so I do get the choice. I am intrigued to see what they do with the movie though.

I could see a world where this does ok.
When I was a parent during the tween years, I was always desperate to find movies to take my kids to. This looks more appealing than whatever Pixar-esque slop they push out in the summer.

Someone unplug Walt’s freezer he’s not gonna want to wake up and see what Disney has become.

an average person will still think this shit coming out on Disney plus
Inspiring stuff.
Is this to Star Wars what Deadpool is to Marvel?
They aren’t even pretending to care anymore.
Give me one good reason to not wait until it’s on D+
The Star Wars Mandolorian and Grogu
“The Star Wars”
This movie feels 3 – 4 years too late… There was a time where Grogu was EVERYWHERE, but now the entire TV show feels like an afterthought.
No one’s excited for this.
What have we become as a society
>Star Wars returns to the big screen with The Mandalorian and Grogu.
>Watch the [trailer](https://youtu.be/IHWlvwu8t1w?si=ZE29raq_45UzLpxP) now and experience the film, starring Pedro Pascal, only in theaters and IMAX May 22.
