Was supposed to come out mere days after Charlie Kirk got murdered: Seems the plot line was too hot to release so soon after.
Sort of like how they postponed any movie that had terrorist or airplane crashing themes after 9/11.

Abject cowardice. Apple wants to stay on Trump’s good side so they are holding this back.

>Chastain previously voiced frustration with the decision, writing on Instagram the day after the postponement that she was “not aligned on the decision to pause the release.” She noted the ”unfortunate amount of violence” in the U.S. that appeared to have no effect on if a show aired — including hundreds of school shootings, the attempted kidnapping of Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and the political assassination of two Minnesota Democratic representatives.

If we want to see domestic terrorism we just see what the GOP is up to today

Main takeaway from the article:
* **Three days before Jessica Chastain’s limited series ‘The Savant’ was set to premiere last September, Apple TV abruptly postponed the show** in the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. “We appreciate your understanding and look forward to releasing the series at a future date,” the streamer said.
* Now, **nearly five months later, neither the streaming service nor any of the primary players** involved in the show have **offered any clarity about its fate.**
* **Apple TV did not respond to Rolling Stone’s multiple requests for comment regarding the show’s future**, nor did it respond to questions of whether the program was being shopped around to other distributors. Representatives for Chastain also did not reply to requests for comment.
Synopsis:
> Based on a 2019 Cosmopolitan article, **the limited series follows an undercover investigator, played by Chastain, who infiltrates domestic extremist groups to thwart catastrophic large-scale attacks.** Although the show isn’t believed to have any direct parallels to the events surrounding conservative podcaster Kirk’s death on Sept. 10, **its premise revolves around online extremism, radicalized hate groups, and themes of political violence.**

Would be cool if it somehow got leaked online… think this brought more attention to it than if they’d just let it release as previously planned. Oh well.
Take with a grain of salt, but on a post back when Chastain removed The Savant from her IG bio, someone wrote this:
>I can’t elaborate but I work in the biz and have it on good authority that, as I type this, the show is NOT shelved, at all. Chastain is just highlighting her projects that are hitting first and actually have a date set…
So hopefully it drops at some point.

That studio released that civil war movie but Apple won’t release this show? America can handle it. What are they afraid of?

Interesting. I thought was about [Jade Parker](https://gnet-research.org/2020/02/04/accelerationism-in-america-threat-perceptions/), who famously said she knew who planted the pipe bombs on January 6th before deleting her twitter. I didn’t know there was another woman who’s completely anonymous in their research of extremism.
