“Top Gun 3”: words that make me happy 🙂

Let’s be clear, Disney said Johnny “might” make a cameo meaning he’s effectively not in it.

And let’s be even more frank. It’s not Pirates of the Caribbean, It’s Johnny Depp of the Caribbean and with out him, any pirates film with out him as the lead character is a joke

    Disney Execitives baffle me.

If I was a major Disney Shareholder, I’d be asking for a reshuffle of all those executives asap

During his 2022 defamation trial, Johnny Depp testified that he would not return to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise as Captain Jack Sparrow, even if Disney offered him “$300 million and a million alpacas”

  4. Maverick: “MACH 100! GO BABY!!!”

Ground Control: “God dammit Maverick…STOP messing with the ISS!!!!, OVER!”

  5. Waiting for the ”the Rock” sequel to sail past all the others in the queue, with a computer generated/de-aged Sean Connery.

  6. Are there any other blockbusters from the 1990s we can make a sequel for? Independence Day 3 will have to be a success

  7. Ridiculous, I passed on Top Gun: Maverick, not interested. I’ve seen all of precisely 0 Pirates of the Caribbean movies, jfc there’s 5 of them?!?!

  8. While I’m not sure what they could do for a third Top Gun considering that Maverick and Rooster both had good arcs that were resolved, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t interested after how awesome Top Gun: Maverick was.

Personally, while Paramount would obviously never go for it because it wouldn’t be able to involve Cruise, I’ve thought that a prequel set during Top Gun’s early days during the Vietnam War would be fun to see, with WWII fighter pilots training the next generation of pilots, and you could involve younger versions of Viper and Jester and Maverick’s dad. Awhile back I read an article about that era of the program and thought to myself, “That’s prime material for a Top Gun prequel.”
