Saw a documentary in which some financial bro’s were at a bitcoin convension and they even said that if you got scammed doing crypto was pretty much your fault. I’m glad to see Ben getting hos recognition from this.

As someone who owns no crypto and thinks its nothing but scams from snake oil salesmans, I always hate hearing this “Ponzi scheme” argument
In any argument to that effect replace crypto with “fiat currency” and literally nothing changes.
All currency has no value, provides no interest, does no buisness.
The point of crypto is that its the ultimate fiat replacement, not controlled by any one government. In theory that benefits everyday people, and hurts the rich
With that said due to anything resembling proper regulation, the only thing it really does good is scam people out of fiat currency.
So although I have no interest in its current form, it always makes me wonder when rich people who benefit from the current statis quo, gloss over this incredibly obvious point in favor of calling it a “ponzi scheme”
