Still think this may be the best scene in the whole series and one of the best in TV history.
So much emotion (pain, anger, resentment, frustration) is on display between these two men who have done everything imaginable to protect one another, but it all comes spiraling down.
One moment that I always think about is when Shane brings up Terry Crowley (the undercover cop that Vic shot in the Pilot episode), when Vic says “Lem was one of our own”, with Vic’s eyes turning absolutely murderous (with pretty much the whole series going back to the fact Vic can not admit that he damned himself and the Strike Team when he killed Terry).

Vic Mackey is one of the great villains because there are times he makes the audience root for him.
