Wanting Netflix to succeed in this merger over Paramount reminds me of having to vote for milquetoast Democrats in US elections: they really suck, but the other guys are somehow so much worse that I gotta do it anyway.

… Just reject it? Why does there need to be some kind of secret plan, you literally control the regulatory authority that approves or rejects mergers, just say no. These people couldn’t find their way out of the maze on the back of a Frosted Flakes box.

I honestly don’t understand why they want all of Warner Bros so badly. Their offer is absolutely terrible from a business perspective. I get that really want CNN, but it’s not part of the Netflix deal at all.
