I don’t think Eugene Levy has publicly shared his thoughts regarding the passing of Catherine O’Hara, but I can’t even imagine how much this news is hurting him especially.

They have consistently worked together and have had a very close friendship for decades, knowing each other long before they both became famous. She was pretty much family to him and his kids; Dan and Sarah Levy and they all worked together on Schitt’s Creek with O’Hara being their only choice for the role of Moira Rose!

RIP to a Canadian legend! She will be missed 🕊️❤️

  1. I hope they had time to properly say goodbye, it must be pretty tough to lose a friend and comedy partner of so many years.

They were fantastic together. Their collaborations were genius – unique yet familiar and with warmth. Never cruel. I am sad for his loss. I am glad we were here for it. RIP

    The Levys must be devastated:(
She seems like she was genuinely loved by anyone she came into contact with.

I cannot imagine the pain he is feeling. Dan said they are all still super close and are in constant contact, Annie too. Friends for so long and his kids see her as an aunty. Just thinking about how everyone is feeling is enough to make me tear up.

  5. Imagine getting to work with your bestie all throughout your career. What a gift. Catherine will be sorely missed.

My comment isn’t directed at OP at all, but I hope that nobody pressures him (or anyone else) to make a public statement about her death. These are real people who had real relationships, and the trend of demanding public grief from celebrities is vile. I truly hope that he is doing okay, but I can’t imagine he is.
