Before he was a big time movie director, Steven Spielberg was on the Universal lot making television, including the first episode of Columbo's first season, "Murder by the Book." And legends were born!
That episode with Theodore Bikel is probably my favorite, because the killer is a member of MENSA, so he’s supposed to be a genius. Still got outsmarted by Columbo.
