How is prime so bad at picking movies to distribute as soon as I see prime and movie I know to skip it

Wow, never heard of this before, but it actually looks like a pretty good thriller.
At the very least, I hope it’s good for the cast; they aren’t who I’d automatically pick for this, but they seem to fit in so well. Hope it at least goes well for Avan, he’s not had a lot of luck over the last few years, but I always felt he was a pretty decent actor.

Oh my god, just the thumbnail chosen for the video and this section of Dove Cameron’s(?) face makes this look like the best worst movie ever, something Lifetime would kill to make. I am not going to watch the trailer so I can keep that truth in my mind.
