Can’t remember the last time I had so much fun watching a videogame adaptation as I did with Fallout. Great show

Excellent show! It has a little bit of everything, interesting characters, great world-building, top tier set design, top-tier costume design, action, comedy, emotional beats. I love the Fallout game series but my partner isn’t a gamer and she says it’s her favourite show on TV right now. Episode 5 was also a banger. Really looking forward to the rest of this season and upcoming seasons.
Keep it up, Fallout!

I really like how they’ve naturally created the feeling of side quests. These little vignettes of what the world looks and feels like.
Also, all the nods to different quests or groups of people that are just in the background.

I think it’s an amazing show. The production and cgi is flawless in my opinion, it looks fantastic. Actors are great. The writing may not be to the liking of everyone but I think they’ve pulled off a sense of humour that is difficult to land (eg Borderlands).

As much as I usually love & recognize Walton Goggins for his sillier performances, I really like the way he plays a totally cynical/jaded survivor with a hidden heart of gold in this

Love this show never played the games although that will change at some point

Literally every episode I just can’t believe how well they are doing with it. Even my wife who is not really into video games and is verrrry critical when it comes to tv and movies loves it.

Love the set designs and how they’ve use practical effects for a good portions of the show

I like how a lot of comments are using the phrase “video game adaptation” to qualify their praise for the show.

One thing I’d like to point out is how they use a lot of practical effects instead of soley relying on CGI. It makes it so the Power Armour is a bit clunky sometimes but things like the deathclaw look great.

I was surprised how good this series is…still suffers from some of the typical homogenization of poor dialogue today but I’m enjoying it a lot

Enjoying it immensely, for me it 100% mirrors the fun and sense of wonder I felt playing the games for the first time years ago.

The people want more fisto. The ratings back it up.
If he doesn’t get a spinoff show we riot. Well, more than we already are.

I don’t get why this season has been relatively quiet on the social media front, aside from New Vegas fans getting up in arms about things.
It’s an adaptation, and a damn good one at that.

In the most recent episode one of the vaulties says he needs to craft a weapon and grabs a fan. Fallout 4 players know that fans are good for crafting because they have screws. That’s such a neat little detail related to the games that would otherwise escape notice. Really loving those little touches. It’s a great show!

Walton goggins is top tier and has been for a long time. I’m happy he is getting his recognition finally. He’s made magic with Danny McBride for ages.

This is the golden standard for a video game adaptation. It’s not just that the story and characters are compelling, it’s that they actually feel like video game characters at the same time. This makes them relatable in a way that I’ve never experienced before. It’s all just so fantastic.

I liked the part where she picked up a fan and said “Maybe we can make ammo out of this”

I heard some complaints online about Fallout s2 but I’ve liked it better than S1 so far. Maybe it’s the House angle and New Vegas.

I really love how it keeps some of that fallout humour. Oh and also if you listen they reuse sound effects from the game which is neat. And you can really tell how much effort they put into the practical effects and models.
It’s just a fun show all around with joys for both non gamers and gamers

It’s a trip to see how well they recreated the strip from New Vegas
