Another in an endless, tired line of medical dramas, the absolute best show?
Well, okay.
Still not going to go anywhere near it cause you know…endless, tired line of medical dramas.
They’re not even variations on a theme. It’s the same thing over and over and omfg when is this head trauma going to stop?

Serious questions need to be asked as to why it wasn’t set on a space station. And why weren’t half the crew secretly androids ? The public demand answers. I’m

Didn’t realize S2 was out … I’ve been conditioned to wait 3 years between them

Hmm I watched the first episode of season 1 and it just seemed like a normal overly dramatic medical drama. Maybe I’m the only one not into that genre

The Pitt is pretty good. So was ER which came out in 1994.
It’s remarkable how we’ve regressed as a people

The only thing that keeps this show from being “elite” for me is that it feels like like they lined up a “greatest hits” list of hot-button social issues and made sure each one got its own episode, which can sometimes feel a bit on the nose. It felt at times like they were ticking boxes rather than letting those issues arise more organically from the characters or the setting. Sure, in real life people dealing with these kinds of environments would encounter a bunch of these challenges, but it came off just a bit inauthentic at times. That being said, it’s top-notch entertainment and I will tune-in weekly.

Is this show really that good? I always thought it was a silly network television like Chicago fire or Greys anatomy. I’m out of the loop

I don’t like hospital drama. I also feel like this is nothing original. I hadn’t watched it. Should someone like me give it a shot?
