  1. Man fuck Paramount, it’s so sad our society has gotten so shitty that a no doesn’t mean no to these ghouls. I refuse to engage with any more of their content.

  2. Warner Bros should counter by saying if Paramount doesn’t leave them alone, they’re gonna go to the water tower and set the Animaniacs loose on their asses.

  3. Warner Bros sees the mockery that CBS has become and walks the other way. Not surprising.

  4. Does “reaffirm” in this context just mean the same offer phrased differently? Because every time I read one of these articles it’s basically “David Ellison isn’t offering any more money or benefit, but he really wants you to reconsider this offer you’ve continually stated is worse.”

  5. For those who don’t know, Paramount Skydance is owned by David Ellison, a foaming at the mouth, down on his knees, balls on his chin, trump supporter.

Watch Netflix get blocked by anti-trust legislators until WBD sells for a cheaper price to Paramount so Ellison can keep building his republican media empire. He wants to be in second place, because he feels like he’s gonna get it eventually anyway if he’s just patient

  6. There was an interesting post a few weeks back with the theory that Paramount (Larry Ellison) does not want to buy WB/Disc at all.

The cable business (CNN/TBS/TNT etc) is not part of the Netflix purchase and those assets would become a separate company once the Netflix deal is finalized in early Q2 2026.

The theory is that the Paramount offer will force the cable business to spin off earlier or be included in the purchase agreement and that’s what Ellison is actually after. He wants CNN before the midterms.

The person putting the theory forward referenced a number of financial filings (that frankly I didn’t understand) that supported their theory.

I couldn’t assess the viability of the theory bc I have little knowledge about financial filings and shell corps but it sounded plausible.

Goddamn, Paramount could just buy whatever the fuck remains of Miramax, Valiant Comics, folding in Annapurna, and a stake in Hasbro with half of that money and call it a day.

Yes, I copied and pasted it. If David can do it, why can I?
