I’m kind of over weaponized ratings. They’ve made ratings all but useless for me.

If any season after the first was at 96% it really just demonstrates why we get so many bad shows. After becoming invested in a show/world/characters people need for things to get inexcusably bad before they can acknowledge a dropoff in quality.

Rotten Tomatoes audience scores are bullshit, weaponized by people who want to make statements.
There is a reason audience scores for films on Rotten Tomaotes requires ticket verification to prove you watched the film.
Anyone can give a ½ rating on any TV show on Rotten Tomatoes.
Audience scores online are untrustworthy & mean nothing anymore.
Letterboxd is holding on to a thin thread at this point.

I doubt very much Netflix gives a shit given how many people watched it.

The defense here is glaring.
People we are allowed, as you are, to express our opinion.
As much as you are invested in this series, this last season or two were objectively bad and time will tell the story.
This doesn’t mean you cant enjoy your favorite show by all means enjoy your show.

It makes sense. It was very disappointing after the excellent Season 4 which was legendary.
I don’t know, that experiment with the self contained season personally failed. Like the world seemed so small and so much got skipped over for this one giant day season or so.

What’s wild to me is, even with the weaponized reviews,it still seems high to me. Season 1,2 and to a lesser extent 4 were good or great TV in my eyes, the other seasons less so and the final one I’d put at a chunk below average.

By audience score, which is meaningless btw.
