this is my 2nd time watching The Conjuring 2 (2016) and I just noticed there are VALAK signs around the house!
did anyone else notice these signs before?
I was so scared to rewatch the movie because it gave me nightmares the first time I watched it and I had to sleep with the lights on for three months straight 💀
Too bad it’s one of the most contrived horror series next to paranormal activity

I think the first two Conjuring movies are some of the best directed horror movies ever made.
The second movie will still absolutely scare the shit out of me when I watch it. The Nun was never scarier than in this movie.
The direction was great, especially the scene where Ed Warren talks to the ghost through the girl and it’s just one unbroken take focused on his face. But if you pay attention to the blurred background it slowly changes from the little girl to the old man ghost, and back again towards the end, then she spits out the water. Genuinely great stuff.
