I figured it was wear and tear from his hat
It’s not just from a bump.
It’s been rubbed off from constant contact from his hat.
A thing that actually happened to Woodie Toys
It happened to mine.
Woody is a stuffed toy and his head would naturally contact that spot every time Andy put him down. It’s just natural wear and tear on a well played with toy.
Surely the detail is that his hat has worn away the paint after years of being put on and removed.
One bump on a drawer isn’t causing paint to wear away like this.
