In Disney’s Mulan (2020) Force Awakens (2015) Mortal Kombat (2021) female characters CANNOT be defeated by male characters in a fight scene.

Modern creative mandates prohibit female characters from losing to a male character. In most cases they are not allowed to be touched in the fight unless the male's attack serves no damage.

The fight scenes can only conclude with 3 outcomes:

1 – the female character wins

2 – the female character loses but only to another female character

3 – the environment ends the fight: A cave in, the floor collapses, explosion etc.
