I’m not 100% on this, but in the scene that introduces Buck and Chanice, her makeup is a little too white for her face, perhaps a little bit of movie magic too so Chanice’s face shows up better. With the way the Weapons invokes emotions, I can’t help but wonder if this is specifically targeting the nostalgic memory of Amy Madigan in one of her more well known roles.

Hmmm, this whole time I thought she reminded me of the mom from Field of Dreams, but you might be right…
At first I thought aunt Gladys was Minnie driver I had to do a quick google search and found out it was Amy Madigan. I was pretty shocked
Zack Cregger did an interview talking about all the inspirations of Aunt Gladys’s appearance and this was not mentioned. I doubt this had anything to do with her WEAPONS look.
