Okay so I just watched it again recently and noticed that too!

I’ve seen this a few times. There’s a scene in Fresh Prince with Will and Ashley where she mouths his lines too. Rehearsal artifact I guess.
Interesting. Maybe the original plan was to have both of them say it but they only used grandma’s audio in final edit.
I’ve actually heard of actors mouthing their costar’s lines when they’re not looking directly at them to get the timing right. I’m guessing she didn’t think it would be a wide shot used but this was probably the best take they got.
Julie Bowen nailed that role. I love her so much in this.
I do think she mouthed her lines here too. Never noticed this before and I’ve seen it over a dozen times. Worked at a theater when it was out.
Emma Watson would say the other characters lines when filming Harry Potter as well! It’s probably more common than we realize
