In Slingshot (2024) Two characters are named John and Nash. This is likely a reference to the mathematician John Forbes Nash – explanation in comments

At the end of the movie it’s revealed he is the only person on the ship. He has imagined his other two crewmates. Why I think the names are foreshadowing is John Nash suffered from schizophrenia.
