Love this movie and was just rewatching it…noticed that before they make the jump there appears to be an alternate route they could take with a completed bridge. Am I missing something?
Picture 1 shows the gap circled and has arrows pointing to the completed bridge. Picture 2 shows the entrance. They don’t look like strong barriers that could withstand a bus going almost 100mph. I think the main thing was to keep them out of populated areas in case the bomb went off because earlier they almost kill a bunch of kids and also to get them towards the airport which I’m assuming if they took the other roads would lead them away from it.
I thought they said the turns would slow them down too much or like they’d roll over. Maybe I made that up to cope.
Probably, but that’s not very cool though
