EDIT: Chao in Space from SA1, got my Easter eggs mixed up. Also as pointed out below, the release date on the poster (6.23) is the release date of the first Sonic game and Sonic’s birthday in-universe.
And Chao in Space, which was a running gag in SA/SA2.

Compared to the previous Sonic movies, I actually found this one hugely lacking in fan service references to the games. It kind of made it, oddly, not as silly. It’s still silly, and a lot of fun, but not as silly as the first two movies. It’s like the writers finally hit their stride and said, “We can tell a good story without falling back on game references that are out of place otherwise”.
This looks like Shibuya crossing in Tokyo.

I’m more focused on the Chao In Space poster
I had to squint way too hard to find that. For who can’t see it, it’s the yellow sign to the right of the Chao in Space poster
Even though I’m not really a Sonic fan, it’s nice to see all these little Easter eggs for fans of the series to find
