Image Description: Rahul Kohli posted this on his Instagram Story
“Everyone was hanging on my every word on the weekend and spreading it like crazy when it was about Fantastic Four casting, so with that in mind…
Civilians are being exterminated in Rafah RIGHT NOW, many of them are children. Over 35,000 Palestinians have been killed since Octover. This isn’t retaliation, this is GENOCIDE.
Did you know I also auditioned and failed for Rings of Power? And Deadpool? And Chris Nolan’s Tenet? And I turned down an audition for Morbius. And I was really close to being cast in A Star is Born but lost it in the final stretch.
Don’t be selective now, spread THE WHOLE of this story ♥️🍉”

Apologies for that first try, mods. Didn’t realise how fuzzy the images looked on my PC.
Also to give more context for those unaware and don’t understand the 1st/3rd paragraph, Rahul Kohli did an interview where he briefly addressed how he didn’t get the role of Reed Richards in the new Fantastic Four… this quickly made a lot of headlines of him saying he ‘lost the role to Pedro Pascal’ etc etc when really he was just a popular fancast and it never actually got close to happening. In this post, he gives some projects that he auditioned for or got close to working on but lost the chance on, and asks that if people want to spread those, they should also share the *whole* story.
Rahul is usually very hush hush on roles he didn’t get so to me it’s notable that he is using this as an opportunity to spread further awareness of the genocide of Palestine.
Terrifying to think about how outdated that 35,000 death toll number is. It’s been used for months now. Not at all a criticism on Kohli by the way, since none of us know what it is by now. I’m really glad he posted this and called it what it is, genocide.
