Let’s have the American character running for a senate seat, and the British character get called back to London because he is unexpectedly going to have to take on some royal duties. And then there’s going to be something that causes diplomatic tension between the two countries. Their relationship becomes strained paralleling the strained relationship between the countries.

This movie was unabashedly, cheerfully cheesy and cute and I hope the sequel does the same
