Since when did Sony get the rights to the original Trainspotting?

Love that movie

Decent film but found it way too depressing of a watch. The baby scene just tips it over the edge and I don’t like any of the characters. Just my opinion

Phenomenal movie, one of the best of the decade. IMO is worse in 4k than the gritty lower res.

I’ve watched this at least 20 times since it was released. Saw it on its first run at a small theater in Chicago. For as rotten as it can make you feel at times, it’s still one of the most thrilling and enjoyable (for lack of a better word) movies of the last 30 years.

Better detail on the sheet full of Spud’s liquid feces. Excellent

The movie is perfect. It’s 90 minutes long – doesn’t overstay its welcome. Always loved this film. The sequel was great too.

Didn’t Criterion have a 4k recently or is this a new new?

I haven’t bought a DVD in years (at least 10, maybe more), but I want this one.
Of course, I have neither a 4K TV nor player. But still.

Well… guess I’m listening to [Born Slippy](https://youtu.be/XiMrrleH_hI?si=gRGsAebMlnhkgAFk) while I work today
Kelly Macdonald in this movie changed my core temperature.
One of the most overrated movies of all time, and I’m actually a huge Danny Boyle fan.
