Been waiting for any news about this sequel since Minus One absolutely destroyed me emotionally last year. Yamazaki directing again gives me so much hope they’ll maintain that same incredible tone
Those black spots on Noriko definitely seem like they’re setting up some kind of regeneration connection to Godzilla’s cells. Could be leading to her having some kind of link or ability in the sequel which would be wild. Really hoping they keep it focused on just Godzilla too rather than turning it into a monster mash – the intimacy and human focus was what made Minus One so powerful
CinemaCon footage is usually pretty exclusive but maybe we’ll get some leaked descriptions or reactions from people who attend
One of my cinema going highlights seeing Godzilla Minus One opening weekend on the big screen. Up there with The Matrix and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, walking out mind blown with what i just watched
super stoked for this! not sure about new monsters, but keeping it focused on one could really deepen the story. those black spots on Noriko’s neck definitely have me curious—wonder how they’re tied to the plot!
