Reminds me of Celine Dion who sang My Heart Will Go On as a demo take and it wound up being used.
Also Cindy Fee who recorded the Golden Girls theme song spent about 15 minutes in the studio, did two takes and it was her third gig that day. Turns out that one put her kids through college.
