    An ode to the eyebrow actors

    Robert Pattinson came out with a movie (The Drama) and people are once again talking about his incredible eyebrow acting. Eyebrows are often an actor's superpower. Actors who can move their eyebrows as an expressive tool often became famous (or infamous) for their eyebrow acting.

    So who are your favorite eyebrow actors? Here's a few of mine:

    1. Vivien Leigh – you can watch her movies and just watch the way she flickers her eyebrows. She had thick, asymetrical eyebrows which she darkened to make them more prominent and expressive.

    2. Cary Grant – famous for his quizzical eyebrows. Made him way funnier in all those screwball comedies.

    3. Marilyn Monroe – whether she was a good actress is still up for debate, but her eyebrow acting is epic. She loved to lift her eyebrows to give herself a wide-eyed, oddly innocent look

    4. Robert de Niro – again, watch Taxi Driver just for those eyebrows. You won't be disappointed.

    5. Jack Nicholson – would The Shining have been nearly as good without those crazy eyebrows?

    6. Eddie Murphy – Mr. Robinson's most iconic look was basically just moving his eyebrows

    7. Jim Carrey – maybe the most famous eyebrow actor of all

    8. Jack Black – another one where he wouldn't have been famous without the famous eyebrow twitching

    9. Emma Watson – became almost infamous for her twitchy eyebrows in Harry Potter

    10. Emma Stone – her thick eyebrows she uses to either seem warm and wholesome or terrifying (Poor Things, Bugonia)

    11. Nicholas Hoult – another actor so well-known for his eyebrow acting that he's said directors have told him to tone it down. Boo. His eyebrow acting is iconic.

    12. Robert Pattinson – again, another epic eyebrow actor

    13. Leonardo di Caprio – everyone knows he's a big hand actor, but also watch his eyebrows!

    14. Viola Davis – queen who does the most work with her eyebrows

    15. Connor Storrie – I know he's new, but holy shit, Ilya Rozanov basically never stops moving his eyebrows.

    So who are your favorite actors who really act with their eyebrows?

      I just finished Carrie for the first time and the way Sissy Spacek lifts her eyebrows to really emphasize her telekinesis is crazy.

      You know who can lift their eyebrow better than anyone on this list? Kristain Alfonso who plays Hope on Days of Our Lives. IYKYK
