Succession star Brian Cox said his co-star Jeremy Strong begged him to stop talking about him after their public spat about method acting.
The 79-year-old actor, who played media tycoon Logan Roy on HBO’s Succession, made the revelation in an interview with The Times, reflecting on the fallout from his past comments about Strong’s immersive acting style.
Cox previously made headlines for criticizing Strong’s approach, which the actor described as “f–king annoying” and “not good for the ensemble.”
Strong sounds like that coworker who is super annoying to work with, but also incredibly good at the actual job.
Also, Brian Cox seems to have reached that doesn’t give a fuck age where he just says whatever he wants regardless of diplomacy.

I think the funniest interview I’ve ever read was the one where the journalist made a point to list all the quotes Jeremy dropped during lunch; like why would you do that to him 😭 I think it was the same guy who spit on him during the Vaulter episode lol

I feel like Brian Cox is an asshole for doing something Strong asked for him not to do?

If you read the article they both say very positive things about each other. Succession was a banger, great show

Personally I think people should publicly ridicule method acting way more
