Scream has entered its own flanderization era and I’m ready to hop off the fandom train.
8 movies of the same “murder mystery killer is a close friend or family member” trope is ridiculous for a franchise that refuses to pass the baton to somebody new.
At least 5-6 tried, but 7 said fuck that.

200 million is crazy for Scream 7, since it might of been the worst Scream movie ever.

I’ll take anyone over James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick at this point.

Where are all the people who swore this would flop??
Downvoters have their little feelings hurt! I promise you can support a Free Palestine *and* live in reality about the average movie goer.

I liked the movie until I got to the motive. It was super weak.

6 sucked so bad it didn’t deserve a sequel and now we’re getting two lmao

7 wasn’t great but I’m down for this franchise to continue as long as Neve and Courtney want it too. Just hope they give Gale more to do in the next one.

7 was absolute garbage. I’m just happy KW isn’t writing, he’s clearly fallen off sadly 🙁

Man, I hope they had a GREAT pitch, because that doesn’t inspire much confidence. Most of the shows they worked on were “hang-out” shows where you were just happy to enjoy the charisma of the cast members.

For such a terribly reviewed movie it sure did do well

I didn’t dislike 7 but it was easily the weakest one for me.

In my opinion, Scream 1-4 are better Scream films than 5-7 and I like 7 more than 5&6. 5&6 are my least favorite. I’ve seen 7 more than I have 5&6

Once a Scream movie starts printing money, there is always another call coming.

I hope Kevin Williamson stays involved. I think his voice is very important to the franchise.

Scream 7 was so so dumb. There was close to nothing to like about it

I’m never supporting this franchise again as long as those zionists are running things — the shitshow that was 7 only makes it easier.

Literally just take the concept international. Show me a Scream copycat killer in… Japan, or Russia, anywhere. None of the original family stuff, just the mask and the knife. Isn’t that the most iconic part of Scream?

7 sucked, but it’s kinda funny to see it set the record for the franchise when I swear 99% of Reddit swore it would flop, and STILL say it’s a flop.

How many times can the same woman be stalked by different knife-wielding lunatics in a ghost face mask?

It sucks that 7 is the highest grossing since it’s the worst in the franchise. Even 3 and 4 were better. Hopefully 8 can get back to form
