A Mexican immigrant died in ICE custody in Los Angeles on March 25, ICE said on Monday. This marks at least 14 deaths in ICE custody in 2026. Jose Guadalupe Ramos was found unconscious and unresponsive in his bunk. He had medical issues, including diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and hypertension.
