Weir’s whining about Paramount not picking up his Star Trek pitch just makes him sound like a sore loser. The guy has explicitly said he doesn’t like the how political Star Trek can be and would rather just watch the Federation and Romulans fire phasers at each other, which shows he just doesn’t understand Star Trek.
