Using your voice to stand up, even when it costs you that kind of conviction is rare. Conscientious criminal really says it all.

Darryl Hannah is another real one who walks the walk. She’s been arrested a bunch of times for things like protesting the Keystone oil pipeline.
Its funny how apartheid in South Africa is nearly universally seen as a bad thing now but at the time the apartheid government had a lot of support from politicians in numerous countries. Makes you wonder how history will remember current day events in places like Gaza.
He also fucking hated the idea of performing for Israel.
