    >“Our house, our neighborhood, our whole street has moved” The End of Oak Street only in theaters and IMAX August 14. #EndofOakStreet #FilmedforIMAX

    >After a mysterious cosmic event rips Oak Street from suburbia and transports their neighborhood to someplace unknown, the Platt family soon discovers that their very survival depends on them sticking together as they navigate their now unrecognizable surroundings.

If only the reveal of the dinosaurs wasn’t included, this teaser would’ve been amazing, but I’m still interested in this.

I’m hoping there could be some additional reveals that can bring this close to the weirdness of Under the Silver Lake at a few points, even though this definitely seems like a more blockbuster-friendly film from David Robert Mitchell

Reminds me of the 90’s Land of the Lost show, there was an episode where they randomly found their suburban neighborhood in the middle of the forest.

So weird not to have Disasterpiece doing the score for this one. I know JJ Abrams loves his Giacchino, but let the director bring his old score guy in.

PRAYING people show up for this.
It’s got dinosaurs, it’s got two big names (Ewan & Anne), and the trailer is really, really good. I’m in!

  6. My immediate question is how the dinosaur made it up the sheer cliff that seems to be the edge of the street.

Looks fun. Premise might actually BE a Twilight Zone episode but ridonkulous cast (and jj the jet plane) might make this really good.

Any idea if they are still doing Stealth Cloverfields or did Cloverfield Paradox put an end to the CCU?

Literally no one acknowledging David Robert Mitchell? What kinda normie ass shit is this?

DONT WATCH THIS TRAILER IF YOU DONT WANT A MAJOR PLOT POINT SPOILED!!!!!!

This movies original cut was more than 2hr 30min long, tested badly, went on hiatus for a few months, and then eventually cut down to 1 hr 30 minutes. Additionally, underwent two title changes.

Could still be a fun movie but…who knows 🤷‍♂️

Maybe it’s an unpopular opinion but I truly believe that we have had enough dinosaur movies.

  12. It Follows was great & Under The Silver Lake was a masterpiece. Im so seated for this. Trailer rocks.

I’m just happy to see David Robert Mitchell directing again. It’s been 8 years since Under the Silver Lake!

Looks vaguely similar to the idea from Arthur C Clarkes: *A Time Odyssey* final book series where sections of the earth are fractured and there are physical lines between eras of history. Looks cool, I hope it’s good.

Nice to finally see something of this, hoping it’s end up being genuinely great even if the trailer hasn’t got me fully convinced.

  16. Is this basically the Drifting Classroom and Jurassic Park combined. Also, interesting to see the It Follows director deviate to this.

Good trailer, tells you everything you need to know…

…except for why Ewan McGregor looks like hes morphing into Michael C Hall, but idk if that’ll be answered in the film.

  18. Re-ElectGoldieWilson on

Can’t wait to find out how this is connected to the Cloverfield universe

  19. They’re basically putting this in the Weapons slot. Smart — it looks like the closest thing WB have to that movie this year.

  20. TheeAmateurArtist on

Oh, look, an original movie people keep saying doesn’t exist.

    Now go watch it.

  21. Amazing that they’re still using JJ Abrams’s name so prominently in the marketing. Like…any cache he had is long gone.

I have been so hyped for this movie since it was announced years ago. Looks awesome, can’t wait. I just hope it’s good and does well, we need more original big budget films!
