Savannah Guthrie talks about her mother’s abduction in an interview with Hoda Kotb: “I wake up every night in the middle of the night. And in the darkness, I imagine her terror & it is unthinkable. But those thoughts demand to be thought. And I will not hide my face. But she needs to come home now.”

  1. It must be so frustrating because there doesn’t seem to be a reason that this was done.

It’s not like she’s a young person who would typically be trafficked. It’s not like they left a ransom note (although maybe they planned to initially, who knows). What did the kidnappers gain from doing this? It doesn’t make sense and that must be driving them crazy.

I feel so bad for her ..
Really hope the family finds her and gets the closure they need.

My heart breaks for Savannah and the family, i hope there will be some type of closure out of all of this, whether it be finding her mother or finding the ones who abducted her, it makes you wonder if this is the abductors first time doing this and how many others have there possibly been?

Until her mother is found, I can only imagine what turmoil Savannah and her siblings will live through for the rest of their lives. I hope whoever did this is eventually brought to justice.
