  1. Common voters need to push back against the primary Democrats lobbying for either Gavin or Kamala. They both cannot win a general election, and both more importantly are for big donors. Gavin and Kamala don’t care for the middle class.

The way I was shocked when it was reported Newsom said that previously cuz I could’ve sworn he was bought like the rest of the establishment dems. Him back tracking is way more typical of his two face behavior. Glad ruffalo is standing ten toes down. These dems wanna please all aisles when some aisles just aren’t meant to be crossed for them. Why compromise yourself to get a few maga voters when you can strengthen your message and get more independents on your side. SMH. They lose the plot every time

  3. This guy’s social media intern making people think he might be a decent candidate despite everything else he does was a moment.

I know a lot of celebrities can sometimes seem like they talk politics as a way to make people think they’re “good” people, but Mark is one of the few that actually seem to be genuine in this stuff. The fact he does call out both parties for their relationship with Israel is pretty cool

I love how Mark is telling the truth. Gavin is the old Democrats system, just like Jeffries and Shumer. They are the past, people like AOC and Zohran, they are the future.

Does Gavin Newsom stand for anything other than gleefully throwing away belongings of unhoused people?

Just when I think Ruffalo can’t get any hotter, there he goes surprising me again.

More men like him please 🙏 🔥

Which *billionaires*, you mean. This is a man who once sent prepaid burner phones programmed with his personal number to over 100 tech CEO’s and executives with notes like “If you ever need anything, I’m a phone call away”, has vowed to stop the proposed one-time 5% billionaire tax in California, and crashed out in a podcast interview when his connections to AIPAC were brought up.

This man’s morals are for sale, is a conservative in disguise, and 100% going to be the Democratic nominee unless people wake up and stop reading his social media manager’s tweets as anything but gearing up for the next presidential election.

Not only is it obviously those things, I’ve never heard a coherent argument about why it might not be. At best I just see people argue why killing Palestinians en masse is morally fine, rather than explaining how it *isn’t* genocide.

It’s because Newsom doesn’t believe in anything other than what his billionaire donors want

  11. Peter Shamshiri (@notalawyer.bsky.social) made a perfect point about this on Bluesky. He said, “Israel is distinctly unpopular with the Democratic base and pretty unpopular with independents. this should help clarify that Newsom isn’t trying to move away from *unpopular* lefty positions, he’s trying to abandon the left entirely”

  12. I used to think Newsom was the guy, not because I liked him, just because he seemed like a safe bet based on his profile and perceived intelligence. But not anymore, the more he talks the more it becomes apparent that he’s not President material.

  13. Friendly reminder that Gavin Newsom got wealthy because he is a personal friend and worked for the Gettys. You know the original billionaire that only became a billionaire because they hid all their wealth in a trust and didn’t pay taxes. But fuck details.

  14. Thank god for Hasan bringing this up this early, and giving the Dems the chance to absolutely not fuck up 2028.

Gavin backtracking something he said last week and taking a position that ~80% of the democratic base is against really shows how compromised he is with the epstien class.

*”i dont know what billionaire got in your ear but its not working for you.”* Israel, thats who is in his ear. IYKYK

  17. Gavin never meant any of it. Polling came back and so he said apartheid, then some zionist(s) with money he wants called and complained.

You just can’t trust this guy and the Democratic party needs to start elevating other canidates asap.

  18. People need to be wide awake and know that Dems like Gavin are just like the mom in the abusive household who covers for very outwardly abusive dad. Gavin is the mom will let dad beat the weakest child to protect herself in the end and tell the rest she is saving the family.

That is Gavin in a nutshell.

  19. I don’t want Gavin Newson to win, anyway. He’s completely conciliatory to the right wing and capital class. He doesn’t give a shit about you or me. This is a game to him and he would be even worse for our country than all the establishment democrats who came before him.

  20. The current election system we have is a no win situation for the majority of American voters. If we want real change we must make significant changes to both our election and representative process.

Anyone see Hoppers? Because you see that and wonder if Pixar despises Newsome with the Mayor character.

  22. The fact that liberals have been convinced, in any capacity, that Newsom is a serious candidate is just yet another example of how they are not a serious opposition party and are functionally unequipped to solve our current crisis.

Hey semi-serious question: Why doesn’t Ruffalo run for office? Dude has all the answers.
