Anya Taylor-Joy states that she threw up when she voiced Princess Peach: “I did not realize how taxing it would be because you’re yelling continuously the whole time.”

She doesn’t have what it takes to be in an Italian family, I see. That’s like 90% of it. Just yelling all the time – or being perceived as yelling all the time when, really, it’s a bunch of loud talkers.

  2. Hollywood actors are so interesting because 90% of the things they say, if it was just some random person in your friend group you would be slyly texting another friend at the table “omg here she goes again 🙄”

  3. I’ve been watching a lot of 80s/90s animated movies and the voice acting was just far superior. I feel like they’re trying too hard to force big trendy names into every animated movie nowadays. I like Anya but not as Peach

please for the love of God let’s start making talented, well-trained voice actors famous instead of just letting famous people take a swing at voice acting

I know people are making fun of her, but I’d be curious to know the full context of the quote. Feels like she’s giving credit to how much work voice acting is, which seems like a good thing (though she accepted the role in the first place. I can’t fully blame her, she seems like a big Peach fan)

  6. Reminds me of another story I just heard, the guy who played Darth Vader in the Stars Wars prequels would get so nervous on set he would occasionally vomit. This was partly due to the extreme pressure he felt for the role.

I guess Princess Peach is another high pressure role.
