Not so fun fact – the United States Law of War manual (that’s a real thing) explicitly states that power production can be attacked if they are believed to power military production or military uses (because power plants often serve “dual-use” for civilian and military use), that attacking power plants is considered legal under US law. Russia has used that as a green light to destroy Ukrainian power infrastructure.
