Rhea Seehorn responds to Quentin Tarantino saying that tv shows are forgettable: “Firmly disagree. I mean, there’s forgettable films, just like there’s forgettable television, and then there’s ones that stick with you… The storytelling is what sticks with you.”

The more I hear about Quentin Tarantino’s thoughts the more I think he’s a fucking prat

I also disagree. For example I’ll always remember that Alias episode he’s in because he’s so awful in it.

And one of those shows with amazing storytelling is Better Call Saul. Start to finish that show was maybe the single best example of a prequel I’ve ever seen. It is so good that it makes Breaking Bad even better, which is really saying something.
Also, obligatory, fuck Tarantino.

This is just such an odd thing to say because it’s so clearly untrue. There are so many beloved, iconic tv shows.

All I hear when he speaks is screeching Tarantino noises.

I barely watch movies anymore because TV is so good, and can tell a story better. For some reason I can’t sit through a three hour long movie but I will gladly binge watch a show for longer.

I immediately thought of 6 Feet Under when I saw this. The series finale was amazing! That ending has stuck with me since it aired.

How can a professional filmmaker be as idiotic as to claim that television is forgettable. That’s something I’d expect a middle schooler to say

There are so many shows that people revisit, because they are unforgettable. Some even use them for comfort.

Patriot is one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen and deserved more than two seasons. Stephen Conrad put together an amazing cast with a great story and I will never forget that show.
When I think Tarantino, I don’t even think of his movies…I think of a Robert Rodriguez movie 🤷 talk about forgettable
