My god I forgot how much I love this film. Shoutout to anyone who grew up in a broken home and found comfort in movies.

I remember watching this movie with my uncle on VHS rental in 1983 — he just went thru a nasty divorce and had two little boys — he was sniffling at the end and trying to conceal it but I knew he was hurtin’ on the inside — he wasn’t gonna be around his kids that much anymore

Man this movie pissed me off when I saw it. Especially since it’s so true. Nevermind that the mother essentially abandoned the little boy to selfishly go on what was essentially a retreat to Ca for over a year, she wants him now so the court naturally uproots him from his life to go live the mother. Because father’s just aren’t as good, right? Hopefully she won’t get bored with motherhood again. I’m sure it’ll be fine, right?

Kramer vs. Kramer was a good movie, yes.
But I don’t think people talk enough about the underrated sequel, Kramer vs. Predator
