Pure magic. The Jerk is a major building blocks of my sense humor DNA. I remember watching it on TV during the afternoon on days I stayed home sick from school. What strikes me most upon revisiting it today is how tender, sweet, and gentle it is without being cloying and sacherine. It's so silly moment to moment, and as a whole, it's a sincere story about love and friendship. I love this movie.
