I hope the publicity you’re getting from 132 different media outlets writing your name and printing your picture was worth disrespecting me and a film I remember quite clearly you were thrilled to be a part of?
Do you feel this way now?
Very possibly.
But after I gave you a job, and you took the money, to trash it for what I suspect is very cynical reasons, shows a decided lack of class, no less honor.
There is supposed to be an esprit de corps between artistic colleagues.
But it would appear the objective was accomplished.
Congratulations

It’s weird to me that a white actor from that movie is offended but the black actor(s) aren’t. Tarantino has some weird shit in the past but I think he’s right here. Especially since she was a part of the movie, if it was that big of a deal then refuse the part when you read the script.

I really thought this guy would get his blowback a decade ago. It’s always rubbed me the wrong way how a lot of his audience likes his movies for the wrong reasons. Also, auteurs are boring. Would be much more interesting to see his take on a sci fi or romantic comedy or whatever rather than just the same old dialogue over and over in different locations.

She’s right though. He’s a great filmmaker, but he also really showed his ass with that Paul Dano thing.

Was she the one with all the shit in her face?

She waited 30 years to say something about it. Read the script, took the job, never had issues with it in the past but no all of a sudden does? Plus what about the rape? The violence?

I honestly do not like this dude at all. It feels like he crashes out from any form of criticism, but he himself is allowed to criticize. each and everyone as he pleases. He is a terrific movie maker, don’t get me wrong but he is a special, narcissistic kind of guy.
About the matter. I think her concerns are legit but I haven’t heard anybody from the black actors complaining about it. Either they do not express how much they dislike it or they just simply don’t care.

It doesn’t sound like Jamie Foxx or Samuel L Jackson had any problem with the Dialog. Rosanna should probably stay in her lane, whatever her lane is these days. I imagine she said that to get the press to rescue her from obscurity.
