I think they did a good job by making the action “more realistic but still clearly anime style.” It’s a nice balance that keeps it from getting too over the top, perfect for an adaptation like this.
This scene is pretty grounded but the final fight in Arlong Park has Zoro do a wall run and Sanji do a flying kick that can only be explained by anime physics.
