This adds nothing to the cause. She could have made a difference by starting a campaign to improve the zoo environment for those monkeys and other species. Posing happily with an IKEA plushie while those monkeys live in an extremely depressing zoo. I’m not even against zoos, but Japan and celebs could have done better.

I’ve never seen such a depressing zoo before.. I live in sweden and the zoo i go to sometimes is much more supporting of the animals’ environments. A zoo i was at in Germany had lots of things for their monkeys to climb on, but the one Punch lives at seems so dull

I love punch with my whole heart but lets not forget there are kids in tents, no family, amputated or in worse conditions.

Why do these monkeys have no trees in their enclosure. Either release them into the wild or build a better zoo. I am sure Japan of all places can do better. I have no idea why the internet is obsessed with this monkey but everything I have seen of this zoo enclosure with the monkeys is depressing – full of poo and urine.
