I’m Iranian-American, and to say the diaspora has been in shambles about who was behind this strike is an understatement. Instead of unifying against the atrocity of this attack on the school (regardless of where they stand on foreign intervention), some immediately swore there was proof that the IRGC confessed to doing this and were spreading misinformation like wildfire. Even with this investigation out now, some are saying it’s a lie. It’s bleak out here and everyone is on edge. I want regime change as much as anyone else, but we are fighting because of disinformation and it’s heartbreaking.
