I’ve been pissed off about Tomb of the Dragon since I saw it in test-screens 18 years ago. It was clearly a cashgrab, Chinese-made film that used the skinsuit of a beloved Hollywood franchise, and I told them that in the audience response and correctly predicted it was a harbinger of things to come in Hollywood.
Great to hear them call for de-canonization out loud, finally.
