Was gifted 2 tickets to see her at Ravinia a few years ago. I’m not a fan but free is free and I’d never been to Ravinia. She was absolutely mediocre.

Man. I was a HUGE fan of hers. Like, voted for her on Idol, bought all her CDs, saw her in concert like 8 times between middle school and college…but once she showed her true colors I was done. Sucks to see how she really is after she was such a big part of my adolescence

Hey, is this a safe space? Because I want to talk about how much I can’t stand her “As a *mom*, I’m a *mama bear*” schtick. Like, she legit voted against a constant because she AS-A-MOM’d him and said he was too young to be there, even though he met the age requirement (16?), and his actual mom was there and said it was okay. If she had a problem with the age requirements, she could have brought that up with the producers, not stomped on some kid’s dreams on national TV. 😩
